2012-Wishing for A Happy New Year

Happy New Year everybody…2012 has just arrived and with it comes all the hope and prospects of a new beginning; but unlike us, the Mayans in their calendar has a somewhat different interpretation for 2012, thankfully reserved for December. the last month. In their eschatological belief, a cataclysmic or transformative event will occur on December 21, 2012. Whether they meant it or not that date is currently accepted as the end of the 13th b’ak’tun, a time period amongst the Mayans; and that is the end of the Mayan calendar. Some knowledgeable in Mayan culture say that it will be the end of the world, a Doomsday. However others say that it is going to be the dawn of an age of enlightenment whether or not the calendar is reset or questionably carries on.

I believe that something of significance will happen sometime around that date to all of us who live in America as well as to those who don’t and the latter will be affected somewhat less than the former.

My reason is based on the fact that our general elections will occur on November 6, 2012 and the results of that election will decide our fate for better or worse. it will be for the better if the country can change tracks from the current “wrong track” to the “right track” as a new president is elected and about this time next year he will be forming his new cabinet as he prepares to work together with a new congress. This is the good scenario which I hope and wish for.

It definitely would be catastrophic for the American nation and people if the election would preserve the status quo since the nation can no longer afford to be on the wrong track towards a socialist command system which will take us over the precipice into an abyss of despair and hopelessness with economic and political instability. So far I have seen the detriment it has already caused within these few years and I have experienced before–in my native country– that this vicious circle continues to whirl away at geometric increase in velocity and arrive at a point of no return.

Whether the physical world will be destroyed or not–in line with the belief associated with the Mayan calendar–then becomes immaterial if so many lives and their potential is destroyed; the result will be quite comparable.

My new year wish therefore is that we be delivered from our present woeful situation of its present course towards a brighter, prosperous and productive future: Let the Age of Enlightenment begin–the alternative belief associated in interpreting the same Mayan calendar.

  1. After reading your blog post I browsed your website a bit and noticed you aren’t ranking nearly as well in Google as you could be. I possess a handful of blogs myself and I think you should take a look here: http://seopressors.org/ You’ll find it’s a very nice tool that can bring you a lot more visitors. Keep up the quality posts

  2. You’re so right, the 6th of November could begin the rebirth of the American Constitutional Republic or the continuation of it’s demise. My prayer is that We the People wake up and chose rebirth.
